Mrs. Nancy Fry Called to RestWidow of Late F.P. Fry Dies at Chas. Kosht HomeMrs. Nancy A. Fry, widow of the late Franklin P. Fry who preceded her in death twenty-five years ago, died this morning about nine o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Kosht, 620 West Walnut Street, at the age of 67 years, 7 months and 24 days. Mrs. Fry was the daughter of George and Mary Offineer and was born at Silver Lake, Indiana. She was a member of the Christian church having united with the church at Jeromesville in her early youth. As the years went by Akdron became her home for a time and she transferred her membership to the Christian church at that place where her name is still recorded. While Akron was her home church nevertheless her place in the House of the Lord among the people of her chosen faith was filled when health and circumstances permitted. She is survived by the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Della Baker, Ashland; George Fry, Nankin; Mrs. Charles Kosht; W.D. Fry; Mrs. Herbert Young, Ashland; James Earl Fry, Nova; also by 21 grandchildren, one sister and two brothers. Funeral service on Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kosht, the further arrangements to be announced tomorrow. Burial will be in Ashland cemetery. A second fragmented obituary notes that A.W. Offineer of Sedalice, Missouri is one of the surviving brothers -- the other being Abner -- and that Flora Decker, of Ritzville, WA is the surviving sister. Source: unknown.
