Virgil L. Fry

Virgil L. Fry, 53, of RD 1, Greenwich, was pronounced dead on arrival at Fisher-Titus Memorial Hospital, Norwalk, Wednesday evening after being stricken with an apparent heart attack at the home of his father.

He was a native of Jeromesville and had been a resident of the Greenwich area 20 years.

Mr. Fry was a truck driver for Wikel Bulk Express of Huran for 23 years and a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 336 of Cleveland.

Surviving are his wife, Goldie; oe daughter, Mrs. Virgie Hunt of Greenwich; two sons, Danny of Greenwich and L. Dean of North Fairfield; three grandchildren; and his father, Mont of Greenwich.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Myers Funeral Home, Greenwich, with the Rev. Allen Rose officiating. Burial will be in the Edwards Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
