Mildred M. Fry

Mildred M. Fry, 92, died Saturday night at Kingston of Ashland nursing home after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 24, 1906, in Ashland County, the daughter of the late Rudolph F. and Eliza E. Bowerize Koppler.

She was a lifetime resident of Ashland County, where she resided on the family farm in Troy Township for 75 years. Mrs. Fry had lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Carl Bruce, for the past five years. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Fry, in 1973; a son-in-law, William Thorpe; a grandson, Harry Thorpe; and an infant great-grandson, Harry Eugene Thorpe Jr.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St., New London, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at the Nova Cemetery

Memorials, if desired, may be give to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1605 County Road 1095, Ashland, or Samaritan Home Health Care, 1943 Baney Road, Ashland, Ohio 44805.
