John Fry

(b. 1809, d. Dec. 31, 1872)

At the age of sixty-four, Mr. John Fry, one of the early settlers of Ashland county, died of Typhoid fever, at his home in Mohecanville (sic). A wife and children survive him and the community feel deeply the loss.

Thus, one after another of the Pioneers, after years of labor and toil, leaving the busy scenes of life behind drop into the quiet rest of the grave.
