Mrs. Della Baker Dies Suddenly
Mrs Della Baker died suddenly of a heart attack at 1:45 this morning at her home, 413 Carroll Street. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Baker was born at Mohicanville November 8, 1870, the daughter of Frank and Nancy Offinier (sic) Fry, and was a lifelong resident of Ashland County, She was married September 8, 1899 to C. C. Baker, who preceded her in death in 1911. She is survived by one son, Raymond Baker of Ashland: one grandson, Richard Baker of Ashland; 2 brothers Earl Fry and W.D. Fry, both of Ashland; 1 sister Mrs H.A. Young of Jeromesville.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother.
She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Century Bible Class, the W.R.C. and the W.B.A.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from the Denbow-Bear Funeral Home with the Rev. J.N. Booth and Rev. Frank W. Brown officiating
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday. Burial will be made in Ashland Cemetery.
