Jack Fry, Nova, Succumbs At 68Jack (Clifford E.) Fry, 68, of P.O. Box 65, Nova, died Monday evening at Samaritan Hospital, Ashland, following a short illness. The son of George and Mae Sisson Fry, he was born April 1, 1914 in Ashland. A resident of Ashland County most of his life, he was a self employed carpenter. He was married May 10, 1956 to Alberta (Betty) Knowlton who survives, also surviving are 10 daughters, Edna Bellatto of Youngstown, Tille (sic) Otterbacker (sic) of Pensacola, Fla., Doris Samples of Weirton, W. Va., Vickie Enderby of Nova, Jean Kopp of Miami, Dianna Wires, Mary Finley, Nancy Griffith and Cathy Kennel, all of Ashland, Sue Griffith of Virginia Beach, Va.; nine sons, Early Fry of Johnson City, Tenn., Jack Fry of Youngstown, Wallace Fry of Nova, Jim Knowlton, Tim Knowlton, and Randy Knowlton, all of Ashland, Jack Fry Jr. of Youngstown, Wayne Fry of Columbus and Carl Fry of Alaska; 54 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Heyl Funeral Home with the Rev. Herbert Gilmore officiating. Burial will be in Nova Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
