Anna Catherine Fry Pence
(b. June 25, 1916, d. Feb. 15, 1974)

Anna C. Pence, 57, of RD 3 Ashland died Friday at Samaritan Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Ashland County June 25, 1916, and was the daughter of George and Mae Fry.

On Feb. 13, 1937 she was married to Jim (Victor) Pence , who survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Pat and Milford Clark of Nova; two sons, James E. of RD 3 Ashland and Delbert at home; eight grandchildren three sisters, Bernice Markel of Wellington, Edna Markel of Ashland and Evelyn Czernek of Cleveland; and two brothers Mont Fry of Greenwich, and Jack Fry of Ashland. A daughter, Shirley, preceded her in death on July 4, 1969.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Gilbert Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Merrill officiating. Burial will be in Nankin Cemerery.

Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
